Johan Carlström leaves his employment at Fingerprint Cards (FPC). Going forward, he will focus on his role as an entrepreneur and major shareholder in Fingerprint Cards.
Johan Carlström is an active entrepreneur and engaged in several, increasingly time consuming projects. Going forward, these projects are expected to limit the possibility to efficiently focus on the role as business developer. Johan Carlström leaves his position as business developer at Fingerprint Cards and will continue to contribute to the company’s development through the role as major shareholder. The agreement between Johan Carlström and the Company was reached on October 9, 2016. Johan Carlström’s severance pay amounts to SEK 10.86 million, which he receives when the employment is terminated, on October 15, 2016. The sum is equivalent to 36 months of salary. The search for a new business developer will begin shortly.
“FPC and I have come to a decision which means that I leave my employment as business developer. Entrepreneurship and company development are important to me and my commitments outside the company are becoming increasingly time consuming. With the recruitment of Christian Fredrikson and the company’s strong market position, I now feel safe to leave the operational work. I look forward to continue to engage in the company and to contribute to Fingerprint Cards’ strong development through my role as active major shareholder” says Johan Carlström.
“This is an agreement between FPC and Johan Carlström. Johan’s contribution to the visionary work, his driving force and knowledge have been essential in building the success of FPC. In his role as business developer he has strongly contributed through his large commitment and long experience. When he now leaves the role as business developer, he will have full focus on his role as major shareholder”, says Christian Fredrikson, CEO Fingerprint Cards.
