New Gionee Elife E8 Renders Surface

Gionee Elife E8 render leak_1
Gionee is a China-based smartphone OEM which has been making smartphones for quite some time now. This company is best known for their Elife S5.1 handset which was the thinnest smartphone in the world when it launched last year. The company has announced the Elife S7 device during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona back in March, and they’re preparing to launch their new flagship soon it seems. The Elife E8 was certified in China a while back, and its specs have also popped up on GFXBench, not to mention that we’ve already seen some renders of the phone, and the company has teased the arrival of this handset a number of times as well.
That being said, two additional renders of the Elife E8 surfaced online, and you can check them out in the gallery down below. These two images should give you a pretty good look at the device considering that they show both the front, and the back of Gionee’s upcoming flagship. According to TENAA (China’s equivalent to FCC), the Elife E8 will feature a 6-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage (expandable via microSD card up to 128GB). This handset will be powered by an octa-core SoC which will be clocked at 2.0GHz, and MediaTek is a probable manufacturer of that chip. The rear-facing camera of this handset will allegedly be able to produce 100-megapixel images by stitching a bunch of smaller images together, and according to info thus far, the Elife E8 will sport a 23-megapixel sensor on the back. The 8-megapixel snapper will be available on the front side of this device, and a 3,520mAh battery will reportedly be included as well. The Elife E8 will offer 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this device with Amigo OS on top of it. The device will measure 164 x 82.3 x 9.6mm and weight 207 grams. And last, but not least, this handset will offer a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, as you can see in the provided images.
The Gionee Elife E8 will be announced in June, though we still don’t know when exactly. This handset will be the company’s new flagship, and we’ll report back as soon as we get some new info regarding this handset, stay tuned for that.
